Homeless Veteran Outreach

For the past year VVA 415's Homeless committee has taking an active role in supporting other area organizations in providing food, and clothing for Veterans in need. We take pride in our comment to address this problem. the Homeless Committee consists of both VVA 415 members and affilalated AVVA members.

Patriot Guard Riders

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their    communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors. We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

In December volunteers from VVA 415 help to unload and place thousands of wreaths at veterans' gravesites at a local cemetery. There are dedications, Gold Star families, Honor Guards and other organizations also taking part in the ceremonies.

"Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another."
